Ahoy, October! It's the best month of the year here on the Forgotten Coast, jam packed with festivals galore and beautiful weather... usually. Enjoy the monsoon deluge on Monday, October 5th, 2026 for a laid back Locals Night. The Taqueria will be open for lunch and dinner and the company will be great! The Monday Fresh Market will be back when the inclement weather clears up, so mark your calendars for next week.
SINGO! — everyone's new favorite national drinking pastime that's all the rage — is back on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 from 6-8pm. Go ahead and mark every Tuesday in your calendar as Singo night! It's just as simple as it sounds: music bingo. Instead of listening for numbers, you're listening to your favorite tunes! There's only one rule for playing this game: HAVE FUN!
We're switching it up and present... The Currys on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 from 6-9pm! It's a little treat for the Porchfest extravaganza going on this week. The Currys have been staking their claim within the indie music scene since 2013, when vocalist/guitarist Tommy Curry quit his teaching job and moved to Charlottesville, Virginia, to join the harmony-based folk-rock outfit newly formed by brother Jimmy Curry (vocals, guitar) and cousin Galen Curry (vocals, bass). The band have since written and released four full-length albums, launched a podcast, and have toured across the far corners of the country. With deep roots in the Port St. Joe area, there isn't much you could do to get closer to the sounds of the Forgotten Coast.
Last night's appetizer should have your palette ready for the Porchfest Pre-Party on Thursday, October 8th, 2026! Jimmy Stanley kicks off the festivities from 3-5pm. Jimmy Stanley, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, is an accomplished performer in the country and Americana/Alt country genres. Jimmy captivates listeners with his passionate performances because to his deep voice and amazing guitar skills. His music, which draws inspiration from the illustrious musical traditions of the American South, captures the essence of storytelling and unrefined emotions. Rounding off the night is none other HOT MESS from 6-9pm! Your favorite local zydeco swamp rock pop band is stirring up some righteously good tunes in preparation for the celebration tomorrow. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
We're keeping the Porchfest Pre-Party going with another festival mainstay, The Von Wamps, from 2-5pm on Friday, October 9th, 2026! They're keep the buzz going with a menu of country western, swing, artgrass, and other eclectic samplings of their vast repertoire. Don’t miss Daniel Foster and Lynn Wamp, this amazing mother and son duo with surprises around every turn! The Apalachicola Sound is back from 7-10pm to set the stage for a wonderful festival weekend! The Tallahassee based country rock group is led by George Maddox, chanelling his own gritwater roots, creating a sound that was born in the salty marshes and swamps of the Forgotten Coast.
The day is finally here! Get out there and check out all participating musicians and stages around town for Apalach Porchfest 2026! We'll be holding it down at the Club for your daytime drinking needs in between shows and preparing for the grand finale. The Funky Taters are back for a spectacular show of big easy style jazz, danceable soul, and funk under the Hangar on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 from 7-10pm.
See you at the Club!
