Another of Apalachicola's signature festivals is coming around again! Kick off the week on Monday, January 19th at the ApalachiCares Fresh Market from 4-6pm under the hangar. This grassroots community market features organic produce, pasture raised meats, fresh seafood, homemade baked goods, local artisans, and so much more. Tonight, we'll be joined by musical guests Greg Brown & Elizabeth Fravel from 5-8pm on the mainstage. These two blend a sound of old country, bluegrass, and American folk into a compelling show where sparks fly. Taqueria de Apalach will be open for lunch 12-3pm and dinner 5-9pm.
SINGO — everyone's new favorite national drinking pastime that's all the rage — is back with local Emmy Award nominated singer songwriter host, Clayton Mathis, on Tuesday, January 20th from 6-8pm. Go ahead and mark every Tuesday in your calendar as Singo night! It's just as simple as it sounds: music bingo. Instead of listening for numbers, you're listening to your favorite tunes! There's only one rule for playing this game: HAVE FUN! Stop by Taqueria de Apalach for lunch 12-3pm or dinner 5-9pm.
The Club and Watercraft Brewing & Distilling will be CLOSED on Wednesday, January 21st for mandatory Crew Bonding Time.
Don't worry! We're back to business as usual for another one of our famed Singer Songwriter Nights on Thursday, January 22nd featuring Molly B. Moon & Riely O'Connor from 6-9pm! This isn't just any show — it's an album release party! Join us to celebrate the duo's second album, It Was A River, with a few special guests on stage. If you're unfamiliar with Molly and Riley, their originals are known for their powerful themes, insightful lyrics and wonderful melodies characterized by a delivery of dynamic energy. From touching ballads to swinging blues, each song is imbued with wit and insight.
Delicious food festivals abound this time of year! Leg it down to Battery Park and get a taste of award winning BBQ from across the country at the Butts & Clucks Cook-Off and come chase it with a cold beer for Clayton's Corner Jam on Friday, January 23rd from 7-10pm! It's the first local jam of the year and you can expect to see local musicians you know and love, like Tommy Cooper, David Lloyd, James Frost, and more!
The Palmetto Kickers are blazing a trail back AYC on Saturday, January 24th from 7-10pm! Their sound is coined Florida Outlaw Country: gritty, pedal-steel-soaked revival of honky tonk, born in the swamps and bars of North Florida and Georgia. Their high-octane live shows are equal parts raw talent and Southern charm. A great weekend of BBQ and live music is in store — what more can you ask for?
See y'all at the Club!
