14th Annual Oyster Cook Off Weekend @ The Apalachicola Yacht Club

It's the most wonderful time of the year — Oyster Cook Off! There's no better way to enter 2024 than by kicking it off in beautiful heart of historic downtown Apalachicola. Come on down for the Volunteer Appreciation Party on Thursday, January 11th from 5:00pm - 6:00pm to show thanks for the hardworking volunteers that make this special event possible, and sign up for a job for this year's event and join their ranks yourself! We've got a tantalizing lineup of musicians from across the southeast to satiate all your musical cravings this weekend.

Singer Songwriter Night this week brings Ronnie Randolph on Thursday, January 11th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Ronnie's cooking up some easy listening country, southern rock, and homegrown originals that'll get your boots stomping and whet your appetite for the rest of the hubbub we've got in store for you.

The man, the myth, the legend... the Sauce Boss is dishing out a soul picnic on Friday, January 12th from 7:00 - 10:00pm. Grab a seat and grab a serving of world famous gumbo with heaping sides of blues, funk, soul, and a little extra sauce on the side provided by Neal Goree and Brett Cook!

All the way from Nashville, Tennessee, the sensational John Sutton Band takes the stage on Saturday, January 13th from 7:00pm - 10:00pm for the perfect ending to the 14th Annual Apalachicola Oyster Cook Off. Don't miss Sutton's iconic powerhouse style of high energy surf rock, soulful americana, and gritty roots debuting on the AYC stage for the very first time!


Oyster Cook Off weekend wouldn't be complete without a Sunday Funday! Shenanigans commences on Sunday, January 14th from 12:00pm - 7:00pm. True to fashion, Florida's finest raucous rodents — The Swamp Rats — return to serenade you with punk folk deliciousness to wrap up an unforgettable weekend on the Forgotten Coast from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
