Cluckin' at the Apalachicola Yacht Club

If you thought it couldn't get better than oysters and beer, wait until we tell you about... BBQ and beer! This weekend kicks off the Butts and Clucks Cook-Off 2024 State Championship, hosted just down yonder on Water Street at Battery Park where the Apalachicola River and Bay create our world famous estuary.

Performing for Singer Songwriter Night this Thursday, January 18th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm will be Molly B. Moon and Riely O'Connor. On stage Riely and Molly deliver the goods with energy, dynamic stage presence, and their unique blend of category-defying original songs. These originals are known for their powerful themes, insightful lyrics, and wonderful melodies. From touching ballad to swinging blues, each song is imbued with wit and insight.

Next up, we've got Few Miles South for you on Friday, January 19th from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. Created by Grammy nominated producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist, Blake English, and fronted by classically trained vocalist Tori Lund, Few Miles South serves up knee-slappin' Americana, chicken pickin' bluegrass, and twangy soul. All of their music is written and recorded in English's own Southern Fried Studio up in the Georgia pines. This will be a show you won't want to miss!

To wrap up yet another weekend of deliciousness that is Butts and Clucks, Cape San Blas' very own Smolderin' Embers fires up the stage on Saturday, January 20th from 7:00 - 10:00pm. Bundle up and come on out and see some of your favorite familiar local faces, and prepare for an evening of hot licks and classic rock n' roll that'll make you forget all about that polar vortex.
